RE-ENACTMENT (OR LIVING HISTORY)

We entertain and educate by bringing history to life. It's as if you are talking to someone from the past! We can interact with your guests in 'first person role' - this means we will only talk as if it was the year of your event (or previous to that year). These re-enactments portray different aspects of life in the 1930s and 1940s, including: 1930s and 1940s dance demonstrations, fashion shows (featuring original clothing and accessories), Royal Air Force, French Resistance, Women's Land Army, Home Guard, Women's Voluntary Service - characters include bombed-out neighbours, billeting officer, 'Man from the Ministry', BBC outside broadcasters, wartime bobby, American GIs. Ask about our wartime events for museums and corporate clients.

Advice is available on hairstyles, make-up, vintage clothing, etc. - all to make your event go with a swing!
