Hoc & Mark founded C&BLE subsequent to passing their Rock ‘n’ Roll medals and then
getting hooked on Lindy. After demonstrating to friends they had more and more requests to teach Lindyhop and were the only people doing so in East Anglia in
1996. |
|
The C&BLE team has since expanded to include Julie & Rowley, who teach some of
the
Balboa and Lindy classes in Cambridge (Grantchester) and Lyn & Grahame who help
out at the Bedfordshire class at Tempsford. Three other members help behind the
scenes. |
|
In addition to dancing they are all interested in the 1930s and 1940s and take
part in, and organise, many period events. |

You are welcome to give Hoc a ring if you would like to chat about their passion
for dancing (Lindy, Balboa, Flea Hop, Charleston, Hullabaloo and Big Apple) and for Living History -
